We are ideally based near Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons, where you can find adventure everywhere.

Walking

The Brecon Beacons National Park has 1250 miles of public footpaths with walking to suit all abilities to explore on your own.

From Wern Watkin there is direct access to Llangattock Mountain.

Cycling

There is a network of mountain bike trails based on Crickhowell - contact us for further details.

We connect to the Sustrans RN34 route via a level mountain road at Brynmawr.

There are also miles of quiet lanes and country roads to explore on your own.

Pony Trekking and Riding

There are numerous bridleways in the National Park. Most stables cater for experienced or novice riders of all ages. Half and full day ride are usually available.

Rock Climbing

There is reasonable climbing in walking distance of Wern Watkin but it must be booked by groups. Contact us for further details.

Climb indoors at either of two superb indoor climbing walls, the Llangorse Rope Centre, tel 01874 658272 or the Welsh International Climbing Centre, tel 01433 710749.

Within 20 minutes drive, Blaenavon, recently awarded world heritage status, together with Big Pit provides a excellent insight into the industrial heritage of the region.

Caving

Within walking distance are the Llangattock caves.

There is free access to some of these but the major ones are gated and need to be booked. Expert instruction can be arranged - do contact us for this.
